I saw that =Mezrella was having a contest with the theme of Loss (you can find it here - [link] ) and decided to do an entry for it.

Strangely for me, I didn't add any fantasy elements or anything to the picture. I still wanted it to look like a photo; I just tried to make it more poignant.
